Demon’s Crest is a fully standalone, original work and is not a direct sequel or spin-off of SAO or Accel World. Story: when game and reality erode into each other
The story is set in a world where MR (Mixed Reality) technology causes “reality” and “games” to erode into one another. The protagonist, Yuma Ashihara, is supposed to be enjoying a test play of the world’s first full-dive VRMMO-RPG “Actual Magic” with his classmates. But before he knows it, he finds himself stranded in a dim building.
